You are your first sell. Before you can sell anyone else you have to first sell yourself. This is important to remember if you really want to scale your business.
Define Your Goals
Before you can reach a goal you have to first determine what your goal is. What does a successful agency look like to you? When I started out it was just me, no kids, no excessive bills or responsibility. All I wanted was $5000 a month. After marriage though and other life changes, I figured out I would need to double that to sustain a lifestyle I really wanted.
You have to have a system where you are constantly contacting business owners. I've spoken about this before but you should be contacting business owners daily. The method I recommend is the 5 Channels of contact. 5 Channels of contact ensure you are reaching out through Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct Message, Text, Email, and through phone calls.
Also the more business owners you contact the more opportunities you will have to sell them. I suggest no less than 10 messages per day per channel.
Noone sells your business better than a happy client. When we speak about our business we mostly can only discuss facts and numbers. Therefore, we can only connect to potential customers rationality. But previous customers can express the emotions they felt working with us. This helps them connect to potential candidates emotionally. So create some kind of reward system where previous clients are motivated to help you bring in new customers.
Outside of the 5 Channels of Contact system, you should create a continuous marketing campaign. This campaign will keep your brand in front of potential customers. A great way to do this is with Facebook Ads, Instagram ads, or email. Creating a email list or retargeting list is the perfect way to make sure you are working smart.
You've already created relationships with your current customers. They already trust you. Upselling is a great way to bring in more revenue. You can offer Facebook or Instagram Ads, Google Ads, SEO, Web Design, or graphic designs as additional services you can provide. Partnering with a white label agency will give you the option to offer these additional services. Simply sell the service and your white label partner will complete the work.
